Man about town Jay Brunner has recently announced that new brainchild Adagio Blue will begin playing a few live dates over the next several months and plans to release "Ordovician Fission", the projects third release, in October. The improvisational fusion and jazz quartet blew the roof off the Brookwood Garage Studio earlier this year with a completely improv performance for radioADR's "Live From Brookwood Garage" radio show. Since that time Brunner worked with Johnny B. and The Gravediggers both live and in the studio, recorded his debut solo effort "Kiss Goodnight" and now has plans to head to Franklin Ohio's Babblefish Recording Studio to begin recording a new project with Adagio Blue. Talk about a Summer vacation! Stay tuned for info from AB and exactly how you can win tickets to their exclusive CD release party in October.
